Plexus, the centre for Leiden’s students, set up and run by Leiden’s students, is located in the heart of Leiden, close to the Academy Building. Plexus is where many of the student associations have their headquarters.

In The Hague
Staff and students at Faculty Campus The Hague (FCDH) can make use of Leiden University’s library services in The Hague at the Library Learning Centre in the main building at Schouwburgstraat 2. The Library Learning Centre offers 14 computer workstations and a couple comfortable seats and couches. Everywhere in the Library Learning Centre you can use your laptop, tablet or smartphone to connect to the internet through the wireless network of Leiden University.
Computer rooms and wireless internet
All Leiden University’s faculty buildings have special computer rooms for students where you have unlimited access to internet. Computers are also available for use by students at the University Library and at Plexus student centre, or you can also use your own laptop in all the University’s buildings to access the University network.
Blackboard is the online learning environment for the University of Leiden. A learning environment is a web-based tool designed to help manage and improve student learning. Blackboard offers not only facilities to have structured learning content (web pages, presentations, lecture notes, computer-aided learning applications, audio, video clips, etc.), but also provides student management, communication and assessment tools, and a range of other useful functions.
