The application fee for administrative purposes of € 100 is non-refundable.

Dutch students meeting the Dutch diploma requirements (e.g. VWO diploma)

Prospective Dutch students who meet the Dutch diploma requirements listed under Entry Requirements can register for the BA in Philosophy on Leiden University’s page on Studielink. In Studielink, the bachelor’s programme Philosophy: Global and Comparative Perspectives is formally called ‘Philosophy’ in the English version of Studielink, and ‘Filosofie’ in the Dutch version (CROHO code 56081).

Pay attention during the Studielink registration procedure and make sure that after selecting ‘Philosophy’ / ‘Filosofie’, you specify that you want to enroll in the English language track called ‘Philosophy: Global and Comparative Perspectives’, instead of the Dutch language track called ‘Filosofie / Philosophy’. Pop-up questions in Studielink will guide you through the procedure.

Once you have registered in Studielink, you will receive your personal Leiden University uMail account for students. Payment is also arranged through Studielink and information on that will be sent to your uMail account, not to any other personal account, so keep close track of your uMail.
