Entry requirements for international students

The requirements for the Arts, Media an Society programme are an equivalent of a Dutch pre-university education (VWO) diploma, and proficiency in English.

Please contact the University’s Admissions Office. They can tell you whether your certificate meets the requirements.

Proficiency in English

It is essential that at the start of your Arts, Media an Society programme you have a good level of proficiency in written and spoken English, as the programme is taught in English, and you will have to do all your studying and writing in English. It is therefore important to include in your application proof of your English proficiency.

Entry requirements for Dutch students

You will be admitted to the Bachelor’s programme in Arts, Media an Society if you are in the possession of:

Dutch applicants with the above diplomas are automatically admitted to the BA programme.
